Step-by-Step Activation
Open the Official Portal
Navigate to mygift.giftcardmall.com. You can do this on any device — desktop, phone, or tablet. Make sure you're on a secure (HTTPS) connection.
Enter Your 16-Digit Card Number
Type the 16-digit number printed on the front of your card. Also enter the expiration date (MM/YY format) and the 3-digit CVV security code from the back of the card.
Register Your Billing Information
Enter your first name, last name, and 5-digit ZIP code. This step links a billing address to your card — required for online shopping where merchants verify your address (AVS check).
View Your Balance & Go!
Once submitted, your current card balance will be displayed. Save this confirmation page or note your balance. Your card is now activated and ready to use anywhere Visa is accepted.
How to Use Your Card After Activation
In-Store Purchases
Swipe, tap, or insert your GiftCardMall MyGift Visa card at the payment terminal and select Credit when prompted (not Debit — the card has no PIN by default). For split payments, inform the cashier of the amount you want charged to the gift card before running the transaction.
Online Purchases
At checkout, enter your card details as follows:

Card Not Yet Active
Newly purchased cards can take up to 24 hours to become active in the system. Wait and try again, or call customer support.
Zero Balance Shown
If your card shows $0, the card may have been used fraudulently. Contact GiftCardMall customer support immediately with your purchase receipt.
